KWC announces official merger with Delic Holdings Corp

In a move that accelerates its mission to provide personalized, high-quality care to a rapidly growing number of patients, Ketamine Wellness Centers (KWC) has announced they are now part of Delic Corp. Delic is a leader in the fast-developing area of psychedelic therapy and the merger represents the opportunity to bring the trusted benefits of ketamine therapy to thousands of more people across the country.

The deep experience of KWC leadership stays in place including Kevin Nicholson as KWC CEO. Nicholson now also becomes the new Chief Operating Officer for Delic Corp. In his new role, Nicholson will focus on the growth and expansion of clinics for the company.

Delic’s existing portfolio already includes two clinics operated by Ketamine Infusion Centers (KIC) in California and Arizona. The new merger with KWC creates the leading and largest ecosystem of ketamine and psychedelic wellness clinics in the U.S.

“This is very exciting for the whole KWC team as we become part of the Delic family,” said Nicholson. “Delic met and exceeded all the criteria Ketamine Wellness Centers was looking for. They are an industry leader with the highest standards in developing new, science-backed medicines and treatments and are committed to making them more accessible. The full support of Delic now accelerates KWC’s internal plan of growing our network of clinics and providing effective, affordable treatments in more communities coast to coast. We are a recognized pioneer in bringing ketamine therapy from the fringes of healthcare into the mainstream and we immediately saw the near and long-term benefits of a partnership with Delic It’s the right deal at the right time with the right partner. It means not only a stronger KWC brand but an opportunity to build even greater awareness of the remarkable game-changing patient benefits of ketamine treatment.”

When agreement on the acquisition was first reached in September Matt Stang, co-founder and CEO of Delic commented, ” we have architected Delic to scale KWC’s efforts and contribute to their position through our existing portfolio of clinics and media properties. KWC brings a world-class management team to the Delic family with decades of experience and has had incredible success in their treatment outcomes for patients. Adding KWC will ensure our existing patients and many more in the future will receive the best treatment and care. We are thrilled to partner with KWC and bring accessibility and psychedelic wellness through ketamine infusions and, in the near future through all FDA-approved treatment options, which we expect to include MDMA and psilocybin.”

The strong synergies of Delic and KWC fit perfectly with the strategic vision of opening an additional 15 clinics across the country in the coming 18 months. The first of these, Ketamine Wellness Centers Salt Lake City is already slated to open in early January 2022.
