Reno, NV Patient

I found the Reno KWC facility simply by googling. I checked out two other places in Reno that offer ketamine infusions, and KWC was my first choice based on my sense of competence about their techniques and the clear instructions provided by their admin people.

I felt very safe the entire time, and the registered nurse (Marcus) who sat with me for my 5 daily infusion sessions (about 4.5 hours each day) was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. I have intense lower back pain due to severe stenosis in my lumbar area, and I had no expectations that the ketamine was going to be able benefit that anatomic problem. But I also have lots of other body pain (including some very bad days that are probably full-blown fibromyalgia). I have no cartilage left in my shoulders, and it usually hurts just to lift my arms over my head. I’m only one week out from the infusions, but all of that other body pain (apart from lower spine) is completely gone. This is simply a testimonial that ketamine is definitely analgesic, and I’ll have to see how long this lasts, but I’m certainly enjoying it for how. But, while that says something about ketamine, there was so much more that I experienced with the entire KWC staff that made my experience pure joy. In fact, I remarked a couple of times that, even if I derived no benefit from the infusions on my whole-body pain or the depression that accompanies chronic pain, it was worth every penny I paid to have this experience. I’m not going to go on about the pleasurable sensations elicited by ketamine, but this was so much more that a recreational drug experience, and there was something uniquely profound and permanent that was imparted to me. I think everyone should have this experience!
