Ten years ago, our friends at the International Pain Foundation launched an incredibly important campaign called NERVEmber. The #NERVEmber campaign exists to raise awareness and advocacy to the over 150 various conditions which list nerve pain as a symptom. At the heart of this issue are the individuals who feel the physical effects of nerve pain and how their lives are impacted by it.

So, why is this important and what does the color orange represent? The color orange is the international color for chronic pain awareness and about 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. In over 150 conditions that do have nerve pain as a symptom, RSD is one of the most painful.  Yet this condition is misunderstood, mistreated and often misdiagnosed. Here at KWC, we regularly treat patients who suffer from Neuropathic pain conditions such as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and Fibromyalgia.
