Paint the World Orange with NERVEmber

Ten years ago, our friends at the International Pain Foundation launched an incredibly important campaign called NERVEmber. The #NERVEmber campaign exists to raise awareness and advocacy to the over 150 various conditions which list nerve pain as a symptom. At the heart of this issue are the individuals who feel the physical effects of nerve pain and how their lives are impacted by it.

So, why is this important and what does the color orange represent? The color orange is the international color for chronic pain awareness and about 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. In over 150 conditions that do have nerve pain as a symptom, RSD is one of the most painful.  Yet this condition is misunderstood, mistreated and often misdiagnosed. Here at KWC, we regularly treat patients who suffer from Neuropathic pain conditions such as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and Fibromyalgia. With CRPS alone, we have retained a 90% success rate in being able to offer significant relief from chronic pain. With five innovative clinic locations delivering the gold standard of care, our most rewarding part of our work is being able to witness relief in one’s wellness journey.

As organizations, politicians, medical professionals, and students come together in solidarity to raise awareness of nerve pain diseases, you can help bring awareness to this campaign by using the hashtags #RSD, #CRPS, and #Diabetes. You can also support by posting everyday with #NERVEmber or #PaintTheWorldOrange along with sharing stories in support of this effort.

As we kick-off of the month, join us in helping to promote NERVEmber to honor those suffering from chronic nerve pain. Whether it’s in Arizona, Colorado, Washington or Minnesota, visit any one of our locations and wear orange to call special attention to this campaign. Now that we’ve shared this story, it’s time to share your journey. If you know someone who is suffering from chronic pain, call the the professionals at Ketamine Wellness Centers.  We can help you achieve your pain relief goals in a safe manner with fewer unwanted lingering difficulties.  Call us today at 855-KET-WELL and see if we can offer a better solution for you!
