As discussed in last month’s update, Ketamine Wellness Centers is offering FREE workshops to the public. Our goal is to connect with the community, patients and families and provide a variety of services and education about wellness and hope. Stress Management Workshop – A skills group facilitated by our licensed counselor to focus on stress management activities, mindfulness exercises, and meditation techniques to help decrease stress, anxiety, and manage chronic pain.
March Guest Speaker – Dr. Emily Parke D.O. – Dr. Emily Parke, from Arizona Wellness Medicine will be offering a free seminar: Improving pain, anxiety, depression, mood and memory: The Functional medicine approach. Functional Medicine is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. Come learn how shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
Coping Skills Workshop – A skills group facilitated by our licensed counselor to focus on cognitive, behavioral, and problem solving strategies to help cope with depression and related symptoms.
Veterans Support Group – Open to veterans and family members. Open dialogue for our veterans to share similar experiences, learn from one another day-to-day strategies, connect with your peers, learn how to talk about things and how to ask for help and gaining other person’s perspectives.
Ketamine Information Session – Monthly information session to discuss updates regarding research, how Ketamine works on the brain, how to get the most out of ketamine infusions etc.
Client Success Story – This month’s success story will be Sara Hobbs – Learn how Sara went from being crippled with depression, anxiety, and pain from CRPS to competing in Triathlons, not only winning medals but winning in life.
