CEO Update – July 2020

I am pleased to announce Ketamine Wellness Centers is actively negotiating insurance contracts with third-party payers in all six states where we have treatment facilities. We are focusing on the major insurance carriers in each market to increase the ability to provide treatment to more patients suffering from chronic pain afflictions where ketamine has proven to be effective. This process can take time but our goal is to complete the medical credentialing and execution of contracts in each market before the end of 2020.

Currently, we are contracted with BCBS in Texas and have signed contracts for BCBS and United Healthcare for Arizona. We are just waiting for “in-network” approval. Keep an eye out in our newsletter updates for when your preferred location has completed this process.  Unfortunately, this only applies to patients who are being treated under Ketamine Wellness Centers pain protocols since the mental health infusions are still deemed experimental and not covered. I am looking forward to insurance companies catching up with the innovation, to someday cover mental health infusions as well.

Thank You,

Kevin Nicholson BSN, MBA

CEO, Ketamine Wellness Centers
