Message from the CEO
If you’re anything like me, the holidays already seem like a happy memory. I hope yours were wonderful; and, let me wish a Happy New Year to all our KWC patients and families. Here at KWC we’re all about our resolutions for 2022, and have already kept two! Ketamine Wellness Centers Salt Lake City is now open and seeing our first patients. Plus, our Reno clinic is set to open in early February. Salt Lake City is the eleventh Ketamine Wellness Centers clinic in our rapidly growing network which now serves patients in nine states. This is one of our largest facilities to date with seven treatment rooms, plus the capacity needed to expand our unique, powerful range of treatment support services.
The Ketamine Wellness Centers merger with Delic Corp late last year introduced an additional highly respected ketamine clinic into our network. Ketamine Infusion Centers (KIC) is located in central Phoenix; and, as of February 1st, the treatment programs of KIC will be fully integrated with Ketamine Wellness Centers, completely aligning our patient care services and our total commitment to exceeding our patients’ high expectations. We are excited to have the experienced team of Ketamine Infusion Centers working with us to offer our Arizona patients an additional option for their treatments. But our new year’s resolutions don’t stop there! We are looking carefully at the unmet mental wellness and complex pain needs of patients located in north Scottsdale and the West Valley of Greater Phoenix.
Another important 2022 goal is to make things even easier for our insurance patients. Our insurance manager is working to bring us in-network with a growing number of major carriers. To accomplish this, we have successfully restructured and expanded our insurance department. This expansion means we can more easily support the complicated contracting process and bring leading insurance companies to recognize ketamine as a demonstrated, value-based option for those suffering from chronic neuropathic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.
