CEO Update – February 2021

It’s official! Ketamine Wellness Centers will be opening the doors of our ninth clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on March 1st, 2021. We have hired our Clinical Administrator, Alexandria PA-C, who will begin her training in Arizona at the end of February and will have on-site support through the first week of treatments. In addition to our new Clinical Administrator, we are excited that our front office position is being filled with a returning employee from our Mesa facility, Barbara. With this addition, Ketamine Wellness Centers is officially the only provider with treatment centers from the West Coast (Federal Way, Washington) to the East Coast (Jacksonville, Florida). And, we aren’t done for 2021 so stay tuned for Nevada, Pennsylvania, and New York.

HUGE NEWS!!! Recently, there have been a number of states and 3rd party payers who are now starting to accept IV generic ketamine for the treatment of depression. This is a tremendous shift that I honestly thought would not happen any time soon.  We have worked over the last year to become contracted (In-network) with various 3rd party payers for all our clinic locations. If you are curious if KWC can now start billing insurance for you or your loved one’s mental health treatments, please contact your local clinic and we will be able to determine if this option is available.
