As some of our patients have noticed I have successfully turned the clinical program over to Jonathan DelosSantos, PA-C. With my time now focused on the business, I am excited to announce a few new programs we are adding to Ketamine Wellness Centers.
Young adult/Adolescent Treatment Program – The National Institute of Mental Health reports in 2013 that 2.8 million children age 12 to 17 experienced at least one major depressive episode. The CDC lists adolescent suicide as the third leading cause of death in ages 10 to 14 and the second leading cause of death in ages 15 to 19, behind accidental deaths. As a parent and a healthcare provider these statistics are terrifying to say the least. Ketamine Wellness Centers will be the first provider of ketamine infusion therapy for patient’s age 12-years old and up for both depression and chronic pain.
Postpartum Depression Program – Postpartum depression affects 11 to 20% of new mothers according to the CDC. Symptoms mirror many symptoms consistent with major depressive disorder including, but not limited to, sad, hopeless feelings, excessive crying for no apparent reason, social isolation, excessive sleep patterns, and loss of interest in usually enjoyable activities. Because Ketamine treatments can be effective in such a short period of time and there is no risk to breast feeding mothers or their infants, this program can provide rapid relief of symptoms for a vulnerable population.
Ketamine Wellness Centers Advocacy Program – Are you a patient at KWC? Are you willing to tell your story and become part of a community of patients who want to help educate the global community? If you are interested in doing so we are interested in working with you to develop community awareness through video, blogging, social media. Your time and commitment to the program would be compensated by a reduced treatment price. If you are interested please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again for your continued support.
